How We Got Started ✨
Hi, my name's Luke and I'm one of the co-founders of Fuzzy Stars (that's a photo of me with my son, Lucian).
We founded Fuzzy Stars in 2021 on a mission to entertain & inspire children.
When my son was born and I was holding him in my arms, it dawned on me just how important it is to instil positive life values into our children from a young age.
Raising superstar children isn't easy but increasing the number of positive influences that surround them definitely helps!
I looked into the products marketed at newborns and young children. I was trying to find something that would really inspire my son in an entertaining way.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of what I found wasn't right... Poorly constructed toys, mind numbing tv shows and books that missed the mark.
We decided to do something about it.
We asked ourseleves... How can we truly inspire our children? How can we create positive role models for them?
That's when we took note of the large impression soft toys make on our children's life... They are often carrying toys and nearly always have them close by.
If we could create a soft toy that had purpose, we would be well on our way to inspiring children!
So that's what we did, we took the concept of a soft toy (we made it even softer and more luxurious), turned it into a really fun character and gave the toy life through positive and inspirational adventure books...
We paired soft toys with books to create the ultimate role model!
We didn't want our products to be too preachy as we worried that wouldn't resonate well with children. So we focused on developing entertaining, fun and exciting stories that explore important life values.
Values like friendship, acceptance of others and persistence (with a lot more on the way)!
We work with incredible authors and teachers to develop products we are truly proud of.
All of our books are fun to read aloud, which makes them enjoyable for parents to read too. And let's be real, us parents do a lot of the reading!
Our toys and books are extremely high quality. We went through a huge amount of research and development to ensure they meet the standards we have for our own children.
Seriously, the amount of different types of toy filling we have squished is wild!
We see our toys as 'Toys For Life'. Each book develops the toy's character which keeps them interesting and means you will probably find them at the top of the toy pile!
All of our products are designed in the UK and delivered in luxury packaging. This makes Fuzzy Stars a great gift for new parents and their little ones.
